My little world – just enjoying the ride

Simplifying our faith? Could it happen?

Imagine if we could simplify our faith – to take away “some of the pollution” that exist/ surrounds our “belief system.”

To stop long enough to see God working in and around our lives.

To start to understand who He really is.

To start to understand what He really can do.

To start to understand what St. Augustine meant when he said that, “Faith is to believe what we do not see, and the reward of this faith is to see what we believe.”

Now, I am not talking about a god that is “defined” by man, but the God that created the universe and everything in it – the limitless God.

The God who gave us Jesus.

Now, imagine if we could stop long enough to experience His bighearted love…His abundant kindness…His outrageous generosity.

What would that mean?

Would we start to:

grow together?

live together?

work together?

cry together?

eat together?

pray together?

do life together?

All I know for sure is it would change us … forever.

It would be like falling in love all over again.

In a word. Wow.
